Enjoy a close, personal encounter with the West Indian Manatee as you snorkel with them under the guidance of a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain. Our small group (no more than six guests) tours are conducted daily in the beautiful Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge. Get up close and personal with these amazing mammals and learn about the ecosystem and their habitat.

Unlike many tours, these Captains will actually swim with you and your group to ensure that you have a memorable experience. While in the water, your captain/tour guide will take high-definition photos and videos of you and your group which you will be able to view and purchase at the end of your trip.

Your price includes all snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, wetsuit) and complimentary coffee or hot cocoa.

We had a wonderful experience. Our tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable and great at what they do. They do their best to make sure you get as much manatee time as possible while also educating you on how to protect/not frighten the animals. I would recommend going on the earliest trip of the day possible, especially if it’s been warmer because you’ll have a better chance of seeing more manatees (they leave to go eat when it’s warmer). We got lucky and ended up having a private excursion because we apparently were the only ones who wanted to get up early so it felt very covid safe :). Even if there had been a couple more people it would have felt pretty comfortable. I liked that they actually listed all their covid precautions on trip advisor too, and it was one of the reasons why I chose them. They take videos and pictures while you’re swimming and you get to keep the whole flash drive if you decide to purchase them which is great (it wasn’t too pricey either). Overall it was a great experience and we’d certainly do it again.

Just went out on the small group manatee adventure. It was great! Despite the cold weather and rain, the team made sure we had a great time. There are other groups out on the water, but overhearing those other guides you can tell that these guys are the BEST. 10/10 would recommend

I took this tour with 3 other friends and we loved it! It was nice that it was only our small group. Ron was a great guide and told us many interesting facts about the manatees. The ride to the manatees spot was pleasant. They gave us some wet suites and snorkeling masks to use . Lauren was great. I was a little nervous at first and she was really good with me, holding my hand and guiding me around. I eventually got really comfortable and really enjoyed seeing the manatees around me and below me. They would get really close and it was fun seeing them . With the wet suite it didn't feel cold at all . Great experience !
