The Gypsy Gold Farm

our first forty five minutes is an educational journey conducted by Dennis Thompson, the discoverer and founder of the Gypsy Vanner Horse breed. Dennis and Erin will then introduce you to a Gypsy Vanner stallion and explain the envisioned look and details unique to the Vanner breed. Your second hour is a walk among horse filled paddocks lined with ancient oaks laden with the romantic Spanish moss of the south. On your walk you will meet beautiful stallions and mares and friendly Gypsy Vanner Horse babies. Your Gypsy Gold Farm Tour ends with a picture opportunity with an incredible Gypsy Vanner Horse stallion and a visit to the Gypsy Gold gift shop.

We had such a wonderful time here. Dennis spoke on the history of the horses which was not only enlightening but also entertaining. Taylor took us around the farm telling us about the horses and we got to pet them!! We will definitely be back. It was so well run.

If you love horses then you must visit this farm. I have been following the Gypsy Vanner breed since I saw the famous Gypsy King on the internet years ago. I always wondered how the breed started and where they originated. These horses are so sweet and majestic it is hard to take your eyes off of them. The tour of the farm with the owner, Dennis Thompson was so spellbinding and I learned the whole story of the breed from the beginning. What a real love story in every way; starting with Dennis' love for all animals to his special bond with Bill the Gypsy King. Walking, petting and just being around this special breed and the beautiful farm brought such joy to me and my family: A trip we will repeat.
