The Gypsy Gold Farm

our first forty five minutes is an educational journey conducted by Dennis Thompson, the discoverer and founder of the Gypsy Vanner Horse breed. Dennis and Erin will then introduce you to a Gypsy Vanner stallion and explain the envisioned look and details unique to the Vanner breed. Your second hour is a walk among horse filled paddocks lined with ancient oaks laden with the romantic Spanish moss of the south. On your walk you will meet beautiful stallions and mares and friendly Gypsy Vanner Horse babies. Your Gypsy Gold Farm Tour ends with a picture opportunity with an incredible Gypsy Vanner Horse stallion and a visit to the Gypsy Gold gift shop.

The tour was worth it seeing the horses up close. Very educational and enlightening. Though the lecture was a bit long, we enjoyed the stories.

This was our second time to visit Gypsy Gold and it was fantastic. Super nice people, the horses were amazing, and we loved hearing the stories of how they discovered this breed and brought them to America.

Thanks for the great review Jimmy. Hay, when you were here did you meet a beautiful black and white colt with a nurse mare named GG Diamond Jimmy or just Jimmy for short ? if not you must return to meet your namesake, he's a keeper and hopefully will be here for the next 25 years. This is my 3rd visit to the farm and I could go every year. Dennis and his staff are always so welcoming. His passion and love for these horses, the Gypsy people and his family is so evident. The horses are absolutely amazing and they love the attention. They come right up to you and are so well behaved. The baby donkeys are precious. I can’t recommend enough. If you love animals at all, this is a must! Thank- you again Dennis for all that you do and for bringing these beautiful horses to America! KJ (Nashville)
