Experience the most amazing views in all of Hawai'i: the sunrise atop Haleakala! After sunrise, you will leisurely ride custom Kona bikes from 6,500 ft. down the mountain for 20 miles of pure joy! We do the Switchbacks twice! before shuttling you down to Makawao to finish the bike ride to Haiku.

• Have recent bike riding experience
• Be over 4’10” tall
• Be physically capable of enduring this outdoor activity
• Be free of any medications that may cause drowsiness
• Not be pregnant
• Not weigh over 270 lbs.
• Wear closed-toe shoes

Cory, our guide, was excellent. Our trip was very enjoyable and well informed as a result. The Haleakala Sunrise tour was well thought out. Note that the Covid impacts availability of gloves....TAKE SOME!!! It's chilly up there at the top of the world.

This was a great experience. Billy was a great guide on the way up. Very smart and very funny. The sunrise was great and Billy had some great tips on how to set up the cameras. We did the self guided tour on the way down which was fun. One tip .....don’t miss a turn. It’s all uphill to backtrack.

This was excellent!!! (My husband and I flew in the night before and didn’t get to bed until midnight and had to wake up at 3:00am to make it in time-wouldn’t recommend that- we took some No-Dose and were fine). Our tour guide was Eddie-Buddy (anybody) and he was hilarious. Layer lots of clothes, it’s below freezing at the top!!! I actually wore all my clothes the whole time. Bring gloves. Don’t turn down the waterproof stuff they provide. I brought my own backpack but they provided some there. Bring snacks and drinks to munch on. There is no food options until about 9:00. Sunglasses are a must. Eat breakfast at Colleen’s and stop at the Komoda’s bakery! Great way to take in some sceneries without a lot of exertion.
