This was such a great way to experience an integral part of Alaska’s wilderness. Dan took care of all the details while also educating us on the basics so that we can hopefully try fly fishing more independently next time.

Adam took my wife and I out for a full day drift. My wife's first time fly fishing. Adam was an excellent instructor, great communicator and a top shelf guide. I've never been Trout fishing with this much consistent action and quality fish caught. Even caught my first Arctic Grayling. We are looking into a multi-day fly-in trip with Adam in the future. Highly recommend!!

Met up with our guide, Shane, and flew by helicopter up Clear Creek for a 3 day float. Shane was great with teaching us first time fly fishermen, and we were catching fish in no time. The scenery was beautiful; the second day was an exciting stretch of whitewater through the canyon. Never went hungry, as Shane made amazing meals all day and handled all the camp set up and take down. Caught so many fish that I am still icing my arm days after I got home! HA! Be sure to let your guide know if you are targeting a specific type of fish, as they know the best way to get them to bite and where they are likely hanging out. We are already planning our next trip, and look forward to using FishHound again!
