I was expecting to get to row a lot more. Silly me, I was expecting an adventure. Also, they never bothered to mention that when we FINALLY got to the rapids we would have to pull over and my daughter, 9, would have to get out and walk around it. I don’t think this guided tour was worth the money.

Hi Bre, We're sorry to hear that your experience was not what you were looking for, this is never our intention and we apologize that there was some misunderstanding on your trip. The Smelter White Water park is currently at a class IV rapid, which is too high to take young children through. This should have been communicated to you, and I've checked in with our staff to ensure that all guests with kids are aware of this during peak flows right now. I apologize that this was an unexpected part of your trip since it certainly should have been relayed to you beforehand. Please reach out to us if there's a way we can make this up to you! Wow what a great time! When you get a guide, pray it is James because he took our trip from fun to phenomenal. He is hilarious, laid back, incredibly informative, and very awesome! Our rafting trip was met with some cloudy weather and potential rain, but all was forgotten once we got on the river with James. I highly recommend this excursion. The people working there are truly the ones that make it once in a lifetime experience.

Don't waste your time here. So unprofessional. We called weeks ago asking if pregnant women can go and were told it is okay if you are before 30 weeks and have your doctor's permission. We checked the website and it said nothing about pregnant women. We have 16 week old pregnant member of our group who is barely showing AND had her obgyns okay to go but then we show up and they don't let her on. Ruined our afternoon. We drove an hour to get here and prioritized our whole day around this when we could have done other activities only to have wasted our time. All we got was a "sorry" and a refund. At one point the manager we were talking to promised our whole group a refund but the other members could go at no cost while the pregnant member stayed back. But after they left the owner said nope, only a refund for the pregnant member and her spouse and didn't hold up to the managers word. It's fine if they don't allow pregnant woman on. Just put it on your website and train all your employees to know the policy so we know before we plan our trip around it.
