Rafting was the highlight of our trip to Durango. Joe was the best guide. He definitely made a splash! It was a step above a relaxing float trip. Just enough rapids and excitement for newbies. Perfect for a family of four with a teenager and tween.

I can’t say how pleased I was with the whole mild to wild operation. My family booked a half day rafting trip down the Animas river. My children (8 &10) were a little nervous but all of the guides had such positive and enthusiastic personalities that it really made it fun and exciting for the whole family. Our guide was Elena. She was super fun and really engaging. Nickol was also leading our whole group and he was hilarious. At the same time the guides were extremely informative and professional and made sure everyone was safe. I highly recommend mild to wild. We will definitely do another trip with this group. We’re looking into the salt river trips in AZ.
