We booked a half day rafting trip in Durango June 4th with Mild to Wild Rafting. This was a first experience for most of us in our party. Mild to Wild’s staff made the whole experience easy, worth while, and one we will never forget. After we signed up, we received helpful and informative emails ahead of time, so we were prepared and knew what to do before arriving. Once we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly staff who quickly got us set up and ready to go. (Let me state this quickly...listen to the judgement of the staff as to whether you should rent wet-suits and boots. We were second guessing it for a few moments. Thank you, Jesus, we listened. We would have froze our butts off if not! They know best, so go with it!) After we were suited up, we were shuttled down to the river where they unloaded the rafts and gave us a quick briefing on safety, and then we were off. That’s when the fun began! Yay! The day was perfect and overcast, the river was full and flowing, and we had a young, fun, energetic, and very knowledgeable guide by the name of Hayden. He def gave us a ride to remember! In fact, the day/water was so perfect, that Hayden rafted on...and on....and on until we found ourselves 4+ hours later in the waters of New Mexico. Haha....just kidding, but we must have come close. He definitely made sure every penny spent, was well worth it! Shout out to Hayden! This will go down as one of the high lights of our trip, no doubt. A good time with lots of laughs was had by all. Indeed an awesome time. Thanks for a thrilling ride, Mild to Wild. #bookit #youwontregretit #Haydenisyourman #mildtowildrafting
