Half Day rafting trips on the Lower Animas are incredibly popular for busy schedules. You'll get a couple hours on the water with the best rapid sections.

It would have been hard not to have a great time with this crew. It was well organized and the guides were great. The whole family had a great time. We will definitely be back.

Highly recommend rafting with Mild to Wild. Because of the drought the river was on the milder side of wild, but a day on the river is a day well spent and our guide, Chris, was great and made everyone in the raft feel comfortable and welcome. He also recommended a great brewery in Dolores (Dolores River Brewing) that we checked out after seeing the Canyon of the Ancients National Monument in the afternoon.
