Half Day rafting trips on the Lower Animas are incredibly popular for busy schedules. You'll get a couple hours on the water with the best rapid sections.

Plus, our guides are well-trained and absolutely love what they do. You’ll get a hoot out of them as much as they get a hoot out of running this river.

We had a wonderful time! Destiny was our tour guide and she showed us a great time! She has the experience to make trips memorable. We even went back for the jeep tour and the duckie kayaking. We made new friends with the tour guides. We recommend to all our friends and whoever we meet. Thanks again for making our visit so great!

Our guide Dillon did an amazing job! My family of five including three teenagers had a blast! Don’t forget water and sunscreen!

The water on the lower Animas River wasn’t that rapid in July - so if you are looking for a really wild rafting ride keep that in mind. That said the one class 3 section was great - just wish there were a few more like that. Our guide - MD - did an outstanding job of keeping the entire trip interesting, fun and safe! Get the waterproof boots and the photo package.
