This was the highlight of the grandkids' trip to Colorado! A top notch company runs these rafting trips; safety is the top priority followed closely by fun! Our 9 and 11 year old grandkids loved it! Kip was our rafting guide, and did a stellar job! Competent, professional, and funny, he even went out of his way to be kind and helpful with the kids, even walking them out to watch the other rafts go through the rapids to build their confidence! He even answered their MANY questions lol. Emma also was great with the kids before the trip started, and we appreciate her too! Bottom line: Highly recommend, and I'm sure we'll do it again!

We took the half day trip down the lower animas river through Durango. Even though the water was a little low Ben worked hard to make sure we enjoyed the rafting. Our plans are to come back earlier in the year next time to catch the spring run off. We would definitely recommend Ben with Mild to Wild!

Thank you so much for your review! It is great to hear that our guide Ben made sure that you all had a great time out there. I would highly suggest coming in May or June and maybe even taking on the San Miguel up in Telluride for some Class II's and III's and a beautiful wilderness adventure!

We had the absolute best time! Mild to Wild and all the guides are amazing! The company itself is well organized and communication is great. Well worth the money and loved the fact that payment arrangements could be made months in advance which made our trip even better. All the tour guides had positive upbeat attitudes! Don't look to any other tour company but this one did! We did 3 tours: Mesa Verde: Jerry was the best and extremely knowledgeable of Mesa Verde! Even people who were not in our group would stop and listen to him and ask questions. It was nice to ride in a clean air conditioned van! We needed more water than we brought it and Jerry made sure we were well hydrated! We could have done this tour on our own but so glad that we didn't! He was also great with our 9 year old son. Jeep Tour: We loved Jonathan! He took us to see some amazing falls and the beautiful land of Colorado! The jeep ride was so much fun and loved the fact we could talk with him while driving. He is also very knowledgeable about the lay of the land, vegetation and animals! We went up 13,000 feet and saw some stunning views! He also made sure were well hydrated. Jonathan was great with us and our son! He made our 9 year old smile and laugh so much! Half Day Rafting: Max was so sweet! This was our 1st time rafting and he definitely makes us want to do and overnight trip! We were nervous at 1st because we did not know what to expect but we all loved it so much! Our 9 year old did great! Max got us working like a real team! He made us feel so comfortable and safe! Max really know his stuff and we never got stuck in the rocks! Overall, Max is a great person and awesome guide! We had so much fun rafting! Thank you Mild to Wild and all the guides for giving us and unforgettable trip to Durango!

Jerry is awesome and so knowledgeable and funny, we are happy to have him and are glad that you enjoyed his insight and helped make the trip special for you 9 year old son! Going up into the mountains is an essential activity when in Colorado and we are glad to hear the Johnathan helped get you all up there! We feel super fortunate to live in such a beautiful area and are super lucky to have Johnathan as a part of the team! Thank you so much for your compliments on Max! It can definitely be nerve wracking to go rafting for the first time but it sounds like he really put you all at ease and allowed you to feel safe! We love Max and are so glad you all did too! In my opinion, multi-day trips are amazing and a great way to get out and explore and reconnect in nature! They are so much fun and a great family get away, definitely reach out if you all are interested, we'd love to take you on that adventure of a lifetime!
