John went above and beyond to tailor the hike for us and provided everything we needed for the perfect day including awe-inspiring, professional level photographs. This tour was the highlight of our trip!

I cannot express what a unique and memorable experience this was for my friends and I. I spoke with John and he listened closely to understand what type of hike we wanted. We wanted something less standard and a little tougher and John absolutely delivered while being incredibly considerate of our comfort level and safety. He was engaging, entertaining and educational. I enjoyed it so much I’ve raved about this experience to everyone I know and have recommended him to several people. He also takes great photos AND makes the best sandwiches in the canyon! (No joke - seriously the best food I ate while I was there) Thanks for such an epic memory John!

My husband, myself and our 16 year old grandson did the morning hike with Jon. It was the highlight of our trip to the Grand Canyon. Jon met us at our hotel and drove us to the trailhead. He provided everything we needed…backpacks, walking sticks, drinks and snacks. The hike into the canyon was mesmerizing…..the colors were constantly changing as the sun rose. Jon made sure that we had plenty of opportunities to “take it all in”. He is prompt, professional and very knowledgeable. Jon tailored our hike to our interests and abilities. At the end of our hike he provided a gourmet lunch. If anyone is considering hiking into the canyon, which in my opinion is a “must do”, hire Jon as your guide. You will not be disappointed.
