Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site. We also offer scuba diving on our trips.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

Such a great company, 10 out of 10 would recommend. We found the booking easy, the price extremely good value for all that’s included and the staff incredible. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted, check in was a breeze and before we knew it our boat was leaving with us comfortably aboard. Captain Brad was not only extremely knowledgeable and helpful but went above and beyond to make sure every guest had a wonderful trip. We are not new to snorkeling but this was our first reef snorkeling experience and it was brilliant for the entire family because of the outstanding team at Pirates Cove. Thanks y’all!!! Our only disappointment was that we noticed that many of the other passengers afterwards did not tip the crew. If you are planning on going out on the water and a crew is working hard to keep you safe while you are having fun then take some cash to tip them accordingly afterwards, especially when they were as wonderful as this team was. If you get into trouble in the water they are going to risk their lives to save you. They deserve a tip!

The weather was not favorable so this was a trip to the mangroves. Captain Pete and 1st mate H were perfect. We had fun. We would definitely go back, hoping for weather to make it to the reefs. I am very happy they avoided getting us all seasick.

Great service, great boat and equipment, very fun experience. Capt John was excellent as was first mate Cuttler. Kelly was great as well.
