Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
All participants must sign a Release Form (liability waiver) and/or an assumption of risk form to acknowledge understanding of these risks and assume all risk of participation
Minimum age is 6 years, must be capable of performing specific tasks independently
Properly fit into a type 5 coat guard approved life jacket
Wear closed toe shoes, quick dry materials for rafting (cotton not recommended)
Read and understand all the instructions in English
Consult a doctor before participating if you have a history of head, neck, back, shoulder, or cardiac concerns
Be able to self rescue in the event of a swim
Rental equipment available for rafting (wetsuits, polypro tops, river booties, splash jackets)

We took our family of 10, which included four grandsons ages 10-13, on a half-day whitewater rafting adventure through Brown's Canyon. I highly recommend Noah's Ark Rafting company. This was a topnotch experience. The guides are very knowledgeable and friendly. The equipment was in excellent condition. This was an exciting activity but I never felt like I or my family were in danger. Everyone had a great time. Noah's Ark rents dry-jackets for $5 for half-day rafting excursions. I was glad that we took their recommendation and rented the jackets. The sun was shining and it was a warm day but the water temperature was about 40 degrees.

My family was extremely pleased with the browns canyon half day rafting trip; we brought our 7 year old son along and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience of our guide (Anna). I felt instantly that we were in good hands as far as the safety and knowledge that she had of the river. This is one trip that we or our son will never forget.

Noah's Ark came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. We did a half-day Brown's Canyon trip that is known to be the most popular 3-3+ rapids trip in the country. Unlike my husband who has whitewater kayak and canoe experience, I was nervous. I thought that this would be my one-time experience just to say I had done it. To begin we rented wetsuits and splash jackets--the air was 90* but the water 47*. The water was running high and everyone said that it would be an exciting trip. Our trip leader explained all the necessary safety information--which didn't help calm my fears. We were in a pod of 6 boats. Our guide was great and gave me confidence--he made the trip fun by informing us about the river, features along the canyon, jokes, and preparing us for the rapids. The first half is more mild so I kept anticipating the bigger rapids yet to come (still building up my nervous anticipation). But with the first class 3 rapid I knew I would be back for more. It was a blast, we were splashed, bounced and maneuvered through the rapids with skill. We look forward to a longer whitewater rafting adventure on our trip next summer!
