The tour we received did not match up fully with the description. Neal, the tour guide and Harlem native, was friendly and knowledgeable. But there was no video or multimedia presentation. The Cultural Center is an old storefront that was kind of junky, although there were some large historical photos and quotes on the walls. The restroom needed some attention. Unfortunately, it was hard to hear and understand the tour guide because of his mask. It seemed like many of the sites we visited were famous for being in movies that mostly weren't even civil rights history. We ended at the Apollo Theater but we only could see the lobby, not that interesting. Neal did give us a good recommendation for a soul food restaurant nearby, and we liked that very much.
