Today my husband and I experienced the Civil Rights Tour of Harlem with Neil. I canā€™t say enough about Neil and the breadth and depth of his knowledge and his PASSION for sharing his knowledge with his customers. We have visited NYC several times and this tour stands out as a highlight. Neil is a student and ā€œprofessorā€ of the civil rights of Harlem. He is a storyteller at heart and I assure you youā€™ll learn details youā€™d be hard pressed to discover so quickly through any other venue.

Very informative and engaging. Enjoyed the history starting in the 17th century through, early 20th century, Renaissance, civil rights up to the present. I am sorry that I forgot our tour guides name, however, we were well pleased with his knowledge and he being of the Harlem community.

Neal was a hospitable and knowledgeable guide who lived in the area and had lived there his whole life and witnessed the ongoing changes. The neighbourhood folks all knew him and we were treated to his insider knowledge. He made the subject of the impacts of racism and now gentrification accessible to the entire group.
