Welcome to Harlem. We are passionate about bringing the authentic live jazz music of Harlem to music lovers everywhere. Our mission is to showcase the best of seasoned and up-and-coming jazz musicians, who bring their A-game to every performance at the Harlem Jazz Series.

Join us for an unforgettable experience – a mix of daytime and nighttime jazz sessions, featuring the most talented musicians in the industry. Our weekly sessions take place every Tuesday at 12:00 pm and Thursday and Friday at 7:00 pm.

The Sitson trio performs a fusion of traditional African polyrhythms which is far from bebop or dixieland jazz. It is clear the audience was waiting to listen some different, as half of them left. It would have been nice to know in advance which kind of “jazz” was going to be played, as on the website they mentioned names such as Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis and Duke Ellington, which have nothing to do with the band mentioned above.

Hi, Thank you for your concern regarding the Harem Jazz Series. Jazz has around 40 subgenres, and we explore all of them. There is a calendar on Harlemjazzboxx.com listing the upcoming performers.

Music was great. Did not like the atmosphere. Church was in bad shape. Original songs could have been played more.

Hi, Unfortunately the church suffered damage from Ida like many other structures in New York City. I am glad that you enjoyed the music.

Amazing show! I do not know much about Jazz but i had a really great time at Harlem Jazz Series. It was a 2 hour show.
