Similar to the Cocktail History Walking Tour in the French Quarter, but more history, embellished stories about ghosts & vampires, and lore, and less 'this drink was invented here in 1832 - taste it'. The 'Pubs' of the Pub Crawl are more stopping points along the tour (as this is a walking tour), but lots of different buildings are discussed between each bar. Visited Tujague's, Lafitte's Blacksmith, Muriel's Jackson Square, Pirate's Alley Cafe, and Harry's Corner.
This is a good tour on your 'first night' in the French Quarter. It is early enough in the evening to whet your appetite for later drinking on Bourbon, or catching a later evening dinner. You also get to see and hear about a few of the older establishments in the Quarter, before making the mistake of getting pulled into a complete tourist-trap on Bourbon Street.
