A fast and fun wildlife adventure awaits your family aboard our zodiac-style vessels (rigid inflatable boats). This cruise of up to 20 passengers gives you a thrilling 2-hour look at Southern California’s year-round whales and dolphins. With speeds of 30 knots or more, you’ll spend less time looking for animals and more time enjoying them! Your zodiac adventure will have you incredibly close to the ocean’s surface and within arm’s reach of wildlife. At the conclusion of your cruise, you'll receive one of Mrs. Capt. Dave's famously delicious Triple Fudge Brownies. (Some folks love the brownies more than the whales!)

We are a certified Responsible Whale Watching partner with the World Cetacean Alliance located in Dana Point, CA, the Dolphin and Whale Capital of the World®, and the first Whale Heritage Site in the Americas.

All I can say is WOW. Lived in the area for years and never done this before using this Vendor. Usually Hawaii is where I go for whale watching. We got lucky today and saw 4 Blue Whales. Regardless whether or not we saw whales I would still do this tour again with Captain Dave’s Loved the customer service upon check in. So glad we decided on doing the zodiac. A lot less crowded on the boat and more nimble

Very relaxing and fun expereince. Nice Zodiac boat was fast and able to maneuver better than the bigger boats. Captain Marie was grat in explaining things and getting great angles to view the amazing blue whale, dolphins and sea lions. Terrific way to spend a summer afternoon!

My husband and I took the Zodiac Safari and absolutely loved it. Captain James & Todd were amazing and we enjoyed every minute of our tour. We really enjoyed the intimacy of the boat ride and how close we were to the action. We saw so many dolphins & they were extremely active. It was fun watching the crew having as much fun as we were having with the constant entertainment of hundreds of dolphins. Who needs Sea World when you are able to experience this up close and personal in their natural environment. We will definitely be back. Thanks Captain Dave’s!!
