We had a great time panning for gold in a beautiful environment. The spot you are taken to is on gold creek next to a beautiful bridge surrounded by waterfalls in the mountains. There is also a few abandoned train cars that were historically used to bring miners to work. Jeff was a great guide. Very entertaining and professional. What I appreciated most was his genuine interest in the activity and the gold mining period in the area. He also was excited to see how our pans were doing, and repeatedly offered help.
