Sea Lions, philanthropists, murderers, fault lines, and awe-inspiring women — we have it all. Our most enthusiastic reviews are from locals, and we guarantee you’ll learn at least 5 new things, even if you grew up here.

All this is punctuated with numerous historic images of the early days.

We cover approximately 3 leisurely miles and walk a total of about 40 stairs (down). We traverse the heart of the village, and the highlights of the coast. There are some hills so if you have concerns or seek more detail feel free to contact us.

The standard tour is neither wheelchair nor stroller accessible, but we can EASILY design a custom tour tailored to your interests and abilities.

We love to present our little seaside hamlet.

I had the opportunity a few weeks ago to participate in one of Historic LJ Walking Tours. I LOVED it! Having lived here in LJ for many years, I thought I knew a lot of the Rich history of this seaside village. Well, Chas, our tour guide was beyond knowledgeable in all that he shared with our group and I learned more with a few surprise tidbits of info woven into the walk.Fun, informative and of course a gorgeous walk through the town, all whilst getting one’s daily steps in. You won’t be disappointed , and this could also make for a great gift for someone. Enjoy! Fantastic!

Beautiful view, magical sunset. I was there all day and had a great time. I saw the seals, went down to the cave and walked along the coast trail.
