My friend and I took a day-trip up to Santa Barbara from Los Angeles, and we were absolutely delighted with this experience! Although I graduated from UCSB so many years ago, there were so many facts and details that I learned about Santa Barbara architecture, culture, and of course, food throughout the tour. Our tour guide, Manuel, was so knowledgeable, informative, and eloquent. I loved the variety of the tastings: French Macarons, Italian food, olive oils and balsamic vinegar, Taiwanese and Thai food, chocolate, and saving the best for last... wine! The other people in our group were fellow foodies, and together we had such an enjoyable time. I truly appreciated the thought and details that Santa Barbara Tasting Tours put into creating this special day. I would totally recommend this trip to others, because the food was delicious and moving to each location was seamless. My friend and I loved it so much, that we're looking forward to going on the other tasting tours (hopefully with Manuel as our guide again) in Ojai and Ventura!
