What could be better than a late summer 2 hour cruise on the Hudson River? With cool sunny weather it was a day to behold! My wife and I went with our closest friends: a double-date of sorts that is a rarity for my wife and me. We got to Kingston easily from our home in the Berkshires, a beautiful, bucolic drive. The boat seats a hundred or more, but on a Thursday in September, much fewer people were on board. You sail out into the Hudson, and head south to almost The Vanderbilt estate in Hyde Park. The tour is very informative, and interesting, without being excessive. The views to the Catskills were stunning and the light houses were beautiful! Calm waters, a nice breeze, and good friends made it ideal. And I had a frozen margarita that was quite good, and lunch was hand made wraps that was inexpensive! What a day!
