Didn't know how wide the Hudson River really was, so foliage, mansions, and other points of interest along the river are viewed from a good distance away. Still, It was an enjoyable, leisurely boat trip. Would agree that there isn't a whole lot to see, but we were glad we went. Bought tickets at the ticket booth under the bridge about an hour before the 2:30pm departure time. There is limited free parking right in front of the booth or the lot across the street and there are also metered parking nearby too. Restrooms located in a separate building located to the right of the ticket booth and there are clean facilities onboard. There are also snacks available for purchase. We went on a Friday so the boat was not too crowded. We were able to walk around the deck to take photos from different angles. We had a delicious lunch at the Mariner's Harbor before our cruise, so this would be a good choice if you plan to eat afterwards. Several other eating places to chose from, too.
