Originally scheduled for the Advanced Royal Gorge trip, they called me and said not enough people signed up for that one and asked if I would be willing to do the Big Horn trip. I expressed my desire for really good rapids and said twice that I did not want a boring float down the river. The female employee assured me I would have a great time and said there were ten rapids we would go through. Well, it was very boring and I could not get in for an advanced trip before leaving town. I emailed the company and asked for half a refund, since my husband had an okay time. They refused, saying that it didn't sound like I would have even been satisfied on the more advanced trip (how would they know that), and mentioned I should come when the water levels are higher. I know that higher water levels don't necessarily mean larger rapids, in fact, some of the rapids disappear with higher water. If I had known how boring this trip would be, I would have scheduled with another company who had an opening that fit my schedule. This company just didn't want to lose out on my money.
