Floating past spectacular geological formations and views of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range as you run exciting Class II-III rapids. This trip is suitable for families, first timers or experienced rafters with great views and lots of adventure. You will run the best 10 miles of whitewater in Bighorn Sheep Canyon, groups or individuals looking to experience whitewater rafting in Colorado for the first time or tenth time. Great views and adventure! 2 to 3 hours on the water. This is the only trip that can start out of either of our locations.

We went for a half day trip. It was relaxing. A few rapids that were not difficult. Shout out to Marshall, he was so fun and was involved in the conversation. He knew a lot about the history. Ask him to tell you about the railroad wars of the area. Very interesting. We will go again on another trip.

This was an awesome trip! The company is very organized and does a great job ensuring everyone has fun and stays safe. It was very obvious the E- man loves his job and has a ton of experience! He is a fantastic guide and would definitely recommend him!

We visited CO from MN, and whitewater rafting was on our bucket list. Did lots of searching for a company and so glad we landed on Arkansas River Tours! It is a bit smaller company than some so it felt more personal, rather than being just another tourist. We did the 1/2 day Bighorn Sheep Canyon trip with our three kids (ages 10, 16 & 18). Everyone had a blast! We didn’t want a boring float trip and our guide, Kyle, made sure we hit all the rapids! He was awesome, informative and made sure we all had fun. We highly recommend A.R.T. and would love to come back and do an overnight trip with them! Thank you Kyle for making our first trip so much fun, we are hooked!
