Floating past spectacular geological formations and views of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range as you run exciting Class II-III rapids. This trip is suitable for families, first timers or experienced rafters with great views and lots of adventure. You will run the best 10 miles of whitewater in Bighorn Sheep Canyon, groups or individuals looking to experience whitewater rafting in Colorado for the first time or tenth time. Great views and adventure! 2 to 3 hours on the water. This is the only trip that can start out of either of our locations.

Rafting the Bighorn Sheep Canyon was a very enjoyable trip! Water was good and ART did a fine job of outfitting us to get on the water in light of COVID-19 and distancing guidelines. Our guide Bari B did an awesome job on the river and made the trip a fun one, giving us insights to the river and local features. We will definitely do this again. Online booking was easy and we did a package deal, having lunch at Cotopaxi after the raft trip, which was a well prepared and tasty meal! Then, we also got tickets to the Royal Gorge and that was an impressive experience too! Tickets allowed us to go to the Gorge on a different day to accommodate for the weather.

This was a great time. Our guide, Hannah, knew her stuff and also knew goofy guide humor to keep us laughing. She made it fun for our two kids and gave them fun challenges when the water was calmer. Thanks.

Our family had a blast on the half day Bighorn Sheep with Ally (Allison). We liked it so much that we booked the more advanced half day Royal Gorge again with Ally a week later. She’s had over 20 years experience on the Arkansas River and it showed. Can’t wait to do it again.
