The 8 mile whitewater stretch through the Snake River Canyon takes you through mix of calm sections where you'll be able to take in the scenery and wildlife, and exciting rapids. On this smaller 8 man raft your paddling skills will be put to the test as your guide leads you into the big waves of Kahuna and Lunch Counter, so be prepared to paddle hard and have a blast getting soaked!
Guests 16 and over will be charged a $3 Bridger Teton National Forest User fee at check in.

During the call our office staff will review check in procedures of the day to help limit the time spent inside our office. This may include signing e-waivers for everyone and paying for any wetsuit rentals in advance.
You will be getting soaked on this trip. So wear items of clothes that are not made of cotton, synthetic clothes are best!

We are pretty confident that this 8-mile stretch of whitewater has the highest concentration of laughter in the state of Wyoming. With class II and III rapids such as The Lunch counter and The Big Kahuna, and even an underwater waterfall aptly named Champagne, this river will thrill and delight you. And with inspiring limestone cliffs, hills of Lodge pole Pine, and the mountain peak horizon of the Grey’s National Forest, the scenery will surely impress you. This is the moment in your vacation that you’ll write home to grandma about—that is, if she’s not already in the boat with you!

The last time our kids did a whitewater trip on a vacation, they requested that they wanted rougher rapids the next time... so that is what we went for. We had SO much fun with the Dave Hansen crew. Everyone was super nice and really worked to make sure we had an enjoyable trip. I want to shout out Gene Gene the Dancing Machine, our bus driver. His songs and jokes set the stage for our morning of fun. We had Ryan as our river guide, and he was great as well. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and made sure we had a safe trip too. My only critique is one that probably should have been obvious to us, but was not. We were not told that we would need to take our clothes and shoes with us on the bus as we would remove our wetsuits and booties before returning on the bus. But this was really a minor issue, and we adapted. Yes, this is an expensive venture, but everything was really well-done AND safe. You won't go wrong with Hansen's.

This was one of the most unforgettable experiences ever! Ryan, our raft driver, was totally awesome and guided us properly throughout, with great adventure and humor! The staff were all so helpful from reservations, confirmation, help with the wet suits, the bus driver with all the amazing trivia and historical information- everything was just so outstanding. This was my first wild water adventure and I was of course very nervous but the camaraderie in the raft made it all so memorable! Highly recommend!!!

So much fun! Our guide sure we experienced the best of the rapids! He also pointed out interesting sights along the way like bald eagles and people surfing the rapids.
