The 8 mile whitewater stretch through the Snake River Canyon takes you through mix of calm sections where you'll be able to take in the scenery and wildlife, and exciting rapids. On this smaller 8 man raft your paddling skills will be put to the test as your guide leads you into the big waves of Kahuna and Lunch Counter, so be prepared to paddle hard and have a blast getting soaked!
Guests 16 and over will be charged a $3 Bridger Teton National Forest User fee at check in.

During the call our office staff will review check in procedures of the day to help limit the time spent inside our office. This may include signing e-waivers for everyone and paying for any wetsuit rentals in advance.

We are pretty confident that this 8-mile stretch of whitewater has the highest concentration of laughter in the state of Wyoming. With class II and III rapids such as The Lunch counter and The Big Kahuna, and even an underwater waterfall aptly named Champagne, this river will thrill and delight you. And with inspiring limestone cliffs, hills of Lodge pole Pine, and the mountain peak horizon of the Grey’s National Forest, the scenery will surely impress you. This is the moment in your vacation that you’ll write home to grandma about—that is, if she’s not already in the boat with you!

We had an amazing time rafting the Snake River with Lauren as our guide! She gave great instructions, showed us all the sights, explained different features of the area, prepared us for each rapid, and kept the group hyped the entire way. The Snake River was an excellent first white water rafting experience.

It's a pity that you can only give a review of up to five star because our experience was 100 stars!!! There are a number of companies all providing rafting from the exact same location but my research told me that Dave Hansen was the company that made it the most fun. Boy was that true! We did the smaller 8-man raft and the experience was exhilarating! When we saw the forecast the day before we were felling down in the dumps because the forecast was rain and they go rain or shine. Boy were we wrong to worry. Did it rain? Definitely rained the first half of the trip but it couldn't have been better. Think about it, what else can you do on vacation when it's raining. Here you're getting wet anyway. We rented wet suits for the family for a nominal fee so we wouldn't get cold and it was great. The best part of our trip was our guide Bryce. I can't say enough about him. He is a real professional in guiding the raft and instructions were clear. But the best part about him was how much FUN he is. Our family is a rowdy, fun group and he just fit right in. We literally didn't stop laughing and cheering the whole way through. Thank you Dave Hansen for an amazing experience and special thank you to Bryce for being THE BEST guide a family can ever expect to have, especially on a rainy day!!!!!
