Indoor and outdoor interpreters were engaging. Engaged at all levels. The indoor museum was so well interrupted! Some high points include the Pocahontas sections and the area about the armor with the video on musket balls hitting the armor was so interesting. Make sure you get down to see the ships. The Bee Gift Shop was so cute!! The woman working g in it was delightful! The regular gift shop was well done too. Bathrooms were nice too.

Really great experience in Jamestown. We felt that the exhibition centre, fort, Powhatan village and harbour with reconstructed vessels really brought it all to life. We particularly appreciated the balanced representation across all communities - settlers, Native Americans and Angolans. The interwoven fabric of early 1600s Chesapeake life, encompassing the backgrounds, circumstances, diets, lifestyles, peace and conflict was exceptionally profiled. Thank you. A great way to end our US summer holiday.

It was nice to step back in time and see how life was back 100s of years ago. The struggles that this country went through to make it so great. Wish lots of others come and join the experience.
