The worst choice you can take when arriving New York. Be sure that any other of the multiple alternatives you have to go from Airport to NYC will be much better.
My experience was: I arrived on time and followed the instructions going to the Ground Transportation Desk. Nobody was there to pick up me, then I called the contact telephone and, after waiting on line for 10 minutes where they was "contacting the Dispatcher", I was said that my car would be there in 40-45 minutes. I didn't appreciate they was worried about that. Not even a "Sorry sir, we are doing our best or something. Ok, I waited then for the promised 45 minutes and 15 more before to call again, and to receive exactly same answer and process: "Give me your reservation number, it is Ok, let me contact the Dispather, hold on ........" Another 10-15 minutes waiting, and then I received the new schedule: my car would be there in 1 hour!!!! That means I had to be there waiting for more than 2 hours since I arrived the meeting point, and of course with no guarantee at all that the new pick up time would be achieved.
Of course, I asked for the cancel of the service and took a bus to NYC.
In no moment, the different Operators I talked to showed any kind of concern about my situation. It was a kind of "that's how things are, take it or leave it"
Reading other comments you will discover there are a lot like this. The attendant in the airport transport desk told me that this behaviour is quite normal, so my case is not an exception due to an error or heavy traffic.
Enjoy NYC but do not repeat my mistake!
