We were certainly hoping to get to see a whale. What we got to see was beyond our wildest dreams! First we were lucky enough to see a mother humpback whale and her calf. Now mom stayed close by while her calf put on quite show for us! He breached many times and spun around waving his flippers until we had to start heading back. On our way back, we came across about 6 whales who were spouting and showing their tails! Never did we expect such an incredible afternoon. The crew aboard the Alaska Tales ship were so knowledgeable and helpful. Larry, Sophie and Ben kept us informed about the whales' habits and the reasons why they do what we were seeing. Sophie was even able to identify some of them by name! Incredible!

I have been on several whale watching adventures and rarely see any. Went with Jorom, Nate and Monica and saw more whales then I could keep eyes on. They were a professional and very knowledgeable crew

We had an excellent whale watching tour in Juneau with Alaska Tales! Our captain Justin on the boat Ramsey and nature guides Ashley and Greg ensured we had a great view of many humpback whales snorkeling and diving with great tale views. The boat was modern and comfortable. The meeting point was easy to find and we were met promptly by the check in team. Our bus driver was very knowledgeable and shared a variety of information on the area, while pointing out various eagles and nature items. We highly recommend this tour!
