I found this company from Groupon and got a better deal on the company web site, so we bought the package for our honeymoon in Dec. Roger, our tour guide, was very energetic. He was able to spot the whale and almost led us all the way out to see the whales, but decided to turn around and continued our kayaking and snorkeling that morning. He even recorded the sound from the whales by putting his cell phone into the water!! We were kayaking with another couple in our small group and enjoyed the calm water. We saw a few turtles and beautiful fish. Roger led us to 2 different spots and prepared us some fresh pineapples and drinks. That was very nice. He even took nice pictures for us for free!! We all had great time.

My husband and I found out about Maui Adventure Tours through Groupon and decided to book a kayak tour for our vacation. It was all around a great adventure with Roger our tour guide and a few other kayakers. We were very happy with Roger, he was nice and took us to two snorkeling locations. Both spots had turtles! We literally got to swim with sea turtles. The best part was the only people that were out there was the Kayak group that went out with us. The day prior we went out on a snorkeling trip on a boat and every time somebody sited a turtle it was swarmed by 30 people and you couldn't see it very well, that wasn't the case here. On the way back Roger lead the way so that we would food to avoid the reefs. It was a great trip out on the ocean.

We used a groupon for this trip. Thank goodness. Not saying it was not acceptable, but, if I had paid full price, NO WAY. We all felt the same way. there were 4 of us that knew each other and 2 other couples who did not know each other or us. We are experienced kayakers the other two couples were not. so we were ok, just needed someone to show us where to go. Otherwise, we felt our guide was out of sorts, very all over the place, unorganized. He made sure we knew how all of us using the groupon were killing him. But, he seemed for lack of a better word like he was on something......talking to himself, saying he had a rough night, pacing, jittery. He stated that all his help left for season so he was on his own. We had a difficult time communicating. Couldn't even tell you his name because he was not talking legible. He provided juice box, and granola bar while out on water though which was nice. And we all saw a few turtles. He dove down to reef and enticed a very small white tip shark to swim about quick. Which was fun. Over all it was a good time but if I was inexperienced and did not know what I was doing I would not have felt safe with him at all.
