Although this trip is conducted in Deception Pass State Park we avoid the turbulent water near the bridge which is more suitable for expert kayakers. During the busiest days we often run full. In the unlikely event that your preferred trip is already full then we will definitely get you out on a trip leaving at a similar time. The 3 hour bioluminescence kayak tour at Bowman Bay was terrific! Our guides did a super job getting us geared-up, getting us into/out-of the water safely, and telling us about the area and the local legend of the Maiden of Deception Pass. And, the bioluminescence in the water as the night got darker was truly amazing! We locals and our out of town visitors truly enjoyed this tour. This was our 2nd tour with AKT - another Great Job!

This was a perfect adventure for a first timer. Though I wish it could've lasted longer. So much to see and take in. As well as learn how to paddle effectively.
