If you get the chance to get out into this bay to snorkel, do it. You have to go on an organized tour boat, kayak and stay attached to your kayak, or hike down/up a steep path to do so. I'd been a few times before but this was the most clear and saw the most diversity in fish. We were a small group and were given plenty of time in the water which was terrific. The boat ride in the rigid inflatable was fun and fast. Saw spinner dolphins on the way out and back. Pat, the captain, was skilled and helpful. Jillian the guide, showed less attentiveness. There is a fine line between being overly enthusiastic as a guide and appearing disinterested in your customers experience. Jillian, to us, leaned towards the disinterested. I would still recommend Kona Snorkel Trips however as it may have been an off day for her.
