Went with my daughter and grand kids (8 & 14). The crew was great on explaining what was expected, and were great at including the 8 yr old (who had previously worn a snorkel twice -once being that morning). They made sure that we understood that touching the mantas was illegal BUT they spoke to you as an adult, not in a chiding or demeaning way. The person (Leona) in the water was great at answering any questions and offered facts regarding mantas. Most of us spoke very little due to being in AWE of these magnificent creatures, including the kids.
The 8 yr old, when he got water in his mask, would lift his head spit out water and PLUNGE his head back into the water-he was absolutely CAPTIVATED!
When I asked the 14 yr old what she thought, she said, "I have no words!"
**went back a week later and took a very apprehensive adult, who ALSO was in "Awe," of the mantas. (Eli) was our water person the second time, and was also very informative, and seemed to really enjoy and point out the differences in the individual rays. Which says something since we were the VERY LAST group of the night (11pm), and no other groups were at the site. (I was concerned this would mean less rays-nope we had 6-7 Ray's all the time).

Thank you for joining us not once, but twice. It's great to hear that you were able to experience this with your grandchildren and then with another individual. I've been doing manta tours for years and I'm still captivated and left in awe whenever I am in the water with them. Mahalo for the review and we hope to see you back out again. Aloha.
