Holland America had two kayak options in Ketchikan, and as it turns out, they were both offered through the same vendor, Southeast Exposure. They are a 25 min drive north of the cruise ship terminal in downtown Ketchikan in Clover Passage. We opted for the shorter and least expensive of the two, but we still had an awesome kayak experience. Spent 1.5-2 hours in the double kayak, out and around Eagle Island in the passage, where the eagles were very active and quite close. We paddled along the forest shore viewing starfish and visiting with the seals. We had a small group and an awesome guide. We still had lots of time to explore Ketchikan afterwards. This adventure centre also has a zipline course on site as well as washrooms, and a small gift shop.
