We enjoyed our zip line tour. You check in and sign a waiver at one location and then you have to drive to the actual zip line location to get all your gear. The guides did a great job getting everyone fitted with a harness, helmet, and zip line trolley. After that there is a fairly long truck ride over a very bumpy dirt road to get to the start of the course. There are 8 lines to go on. There is some hiking between some of the lines so be prepared to do some walking/climbing. They do provide some water and snacks part way through the tour.
Because of the type of harness they use, on some of the lines they allow you to choose to do the line is a prone (Flyin' Kauaiian) position or even flip yourself upside down. If you don't want to be that daring, you can always opt for the traditional sitting position. The guides were all great and made everyone feel safe and not rushed.
