My family and I had an adventurous morning zipping through the treetops at speeds up to 45 mph. No dinosaurs were sighted on this trip, but our steadfast guides, Payton & Briton functioned like a well oiled machine. I am terrified of heights and felt completely safe with our guides who convinced me (along with some healthy peer pressure from my children) to live a little and try zipping upside down. We were lucky to witness one smooth rescue when a fellow traveler stoped short of the platform. The Dad jokes were flying freely, we gorged on local snacks and maintained our hydration all while hamming it up. This experience was a highlight for our family. My only negative is that 8 zip lines are not enough. We arrived for the 0700 time slot which was perfect. There is one short steep climb from one zip line to the next which we all huffed and puffed our way up in anticipation for the next flight through the fresh Kauai air.
