Yellowstone Hiking Guides safely leads hiking groups into the Lamar Valley on a wildlife viewing day hike tour.

Our guides are experts and fun is a top priority. Regularly, we spot wolves, bears, and other rare wildlife from the trail in the backcountry of Yellowstone.

Our tours are off the beaten path, traveling on bison trails for the majority of the hike. Most tour providers in Yellowstone spend the majority of the day on the road, or very close to the road. Our guides take you into the backcountry for unique views of the Lamar Valley that you cannot see from the roadway.

Frequently, our guests tell us that they could not do this hike on their own. We also hear feedback stating this is the best part of our guest's vacation to Yellowstone.

This is the only disappointment I have in Yellowstone. I find the Award far too high compared to the activity. In addition unfortunately that day we hardly saw any animals, a bison and antelope from America from afar. Too bad but nature decides:) The Guide was really friendly but beware of the trails taken some could not follow in the end. The Guide explained a number of things, including local wildlife.

Karlie created the perfect atmosphere for a wonderful day in Lamar Valley. We could see American antelopes, ate next to a bison and while eating we also enjoyed the visit of a groundhog and a bald eagle. At all times we feel very safe with her. Thank you Karlie for answering all our questions! Recommended 100%.

Flight was delayed by a day due to bad weather in West Yellowstone. Couldn't reach the meeting point on time. All attempts to contact TripAdvisor by email or phone or support failed. Complete mismanagement of the organization. Emails are not answered - an outrage. This is not a review of the guides in Lamar Valley

Hello, sir, I know that airline travel can be frustrating. Unfortunately these trips are non-refundable after 24 hours before the trip. If we can reschedule someone, we certainly do, but in this case the trips were full on the alternative dates. Trip insurance is always a good option when travel plans are tight.
