Viator did not inform me that the Lamar Valley was cancelled. I am still waiting for my refund. The Lamar Valley is closed due to a flood. The Yellowstone guide claims that they tried to contact me but I have no trace of it. I called them but we cannot leave a message

At times, we cannot keep up with our call volumes. In those cases, the best way to contact us is via email. All messages are answered every day.

It was an amazing experience, the encounter with Nature, views with Bisons all over was a blast. Josh our guide was way beyond being friendly and doing his job. Gave us a wonderful tour around areas no tourist will go on their own. Strongly recommended Watch out for the meeting point: it us nit a shop and no signs it is an official spot in the park.

We recently went on a hike with Yellowstone Hiking Guides, literally a few days prior to the massive flooding that occurred in the park. We had a fantastic hike that was led by Joel, a retired National Park Ranger. Joel was in 2 words, The Best! He was very knowledgeable and willingly shared his knowledge with the group. He was also entertaining and the consummate professional. The hike took us into parts of the Valley that were accessible yet not overrun with other hikers.
