Your expert guide will safely lead you to wildlife viewing locations and scenic vistas that you cannot see from the road.

Yellowstone Hiking Guides is a must do if you are traveling to Yellowstone. My family consisted of young adults to middle age adults and one senior citizen. We did the Lamar valley safari hike and wow did it pay off! We saw Grizzly and cub, wolf, elk, a coyote tailing some pronghorn , a badger and of course ground squirrels. Josh is an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about the area and history. By far it was the highlight of my entire groups trip. My mother in law in her 70s was apprehensive about the 6 mile hike but Josh paced the group and provided many rest breaks so that she never felt rushed or left behind. It was for sure her favorite part of the trip! The lunch was a huge sandwich, apple, and popcorn with a bag of snacks and candy. Most couldn’t finish their sandwich. Josh also provides trekking poles, bear spray, and binoculars. He also had some backpacks and extra rain coats which came in handy as I had left mine. This was my family’s second time using him and I can assure you it is worth every penny! We look forward to trying some of the other tours with his company in the future.

This past Saturday (before the apocalyptic river floods) my husband and I went on the Lamar Valley guided tour with Joel. To say Joel was the best guide we could’ve ever hoped to have, would be an understatement. He was incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining, and accommodating with my condition. The whole tour was fantastic, and I would highly recommend! Take advantage of this great tour once it reopens. You will have a great time!

We had an absolute blast with Josh on this tour. It was without a doubt one of the highlights of our 2 weeks in the Tetons and Yellowstone. Josh had lots of information to share and was very hospitable. We got so much more out of this guided tour than we would have if we just hiked a trail on our own. Josh lead us off the 'normal' trails for the majority of the tour. We are so happy we booked this tour. What an awesome way to experience Lamar Valley.
