Lower Antelope Canyon is one the most exquisitely photographed attractions in the Page Lake Powell area. Many visitors prefer the Lower Antelope Canyon to the Upper because it is less crowded, has light throughout, is longer, and offers great variety. Visitors get the experience narrow slots an ladder access into some of the sandstone craved shoots an holes formed by the force of runoff into the Antelope Wash from the mesas above.

Tour Departure Point: Lower Antelope Canyon Indn Route 222 Page, AZ, 86040 Antelope Canyon Tours departs every 1/2 hour a quarter after and a quarter till the hour, the tour is a 1.5 hours waling tour and climbing down some ladders is involved. Please wear comfortable shoes for this 600 meter trip. Lower Antelope Canyon Tours has smaller group sizes and the guide stays with you during the entire tour, sharing information about the geology, history, and Navajo Traditional ways. The Lower Antelope Canyon tends to be less crowded than the Upper Antelope Canyon and is preferred by many because of its narrow canyon walls and ladders that take you to the levels that have been carved by flash floods from the upper mesas. The sandstone walls are exquisitely formed, and the Lower Antelope Canyon offers a longer canyon exploration.

Our tour guide was RJ and he was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about the canyon and surrounding area. He shared personal facts about himself and his tribe along with other cultural aspects that was an added bonus to the trip. The canyon itself is absolutely stunning! We signed up for the 11:45 tour but were waiting outside early and got put on an 11:15 tour which was great. It didn't feel crowded at all, as there were 15 people on our tour but we were still able to take photos with no one in the shots. We were the last group at this time slot so the group behind us was a ways back so the canyon felt quiet as well. I would highly recommend going through this group for the tour!

Amazing experience!! One we have never experienced before. Nature at its best. Ian was a wonderful tour guide, full of information and insight into the Navajo Nation.

We joined Lower Antelope Canyon tour. The tour guide Ely is awesome and takes care of everyone well. We enjoyed the time with him.
