Отприлике на пола пута, ваше путовање ће се зауставити и појести ручак у стилу деликатеса на обали. После ручка настављате низводно у срце клисуре. Овде ћете проћи кроз неколико брзака оцењених класом ИИИ-В. Између брзака има времена за пливање, плутање и можда (на основу водостаја) скакање са стена. Путовање се завршава непосредно поред моста Нев Ривер Горге.

Adventures on the Gorge

Meet your rafting trip leader at the departure point. You will listen to a brief orientation and get your gear (personal flotation device, helmet and paddle). Then, you will have a 30-minute ride on a school bus down to the river put-in. Your guide will go over additional instructions once you get in the raft. The trip begins with a few smaller class I-III rapids as you ease into paddling and working as a team. Then, you hit some bigger rapids rated class IV-V. About half way through the trip, your trip will pull over and eat a deli-style lunch on the shore. After lunch, you will continue downstream into the heart of the Gorge. Here you’ll go through several rapids rated class III-V. Between rapids, there is time for swimming, floating and maybe (based on water levels) jumping off of rocks. The trip ends just past the New River Gorge Bridge.

I've been on excursions around the world and this comes in as top 5 for me. Pete was our guide and did an exceptional job for us. I also enjoyed his overall knowledge of the river-system and all things nature...It was a wonderful day on the water and I won't forget it! Great Job Adventures on the Gorge!

White water rafting was on our “bucket” list. We are so very glad we went with Nate as our guide - he was wonderful! We had a fabulous time and plan to go back in the future!
