Овде ћете проћи кроз неколико брзака оцењених класом ИИИ-В. Између брзака има времена за пливање, плутање и можда (на основу водостаја) скакање са стена. Путовање се завршава непосредно поред моста Нев Ривер Горге.

Adventures on the Gorge

Meet your rafting trip leader at the departure point. You will listen to a brief orientation and get your gear (personal flotation device, helmet and paddle). Then, you will have a 30-minute ride on a school bus down to the river put-in. Your guide will go over additional instructions once you get in the raft. The trip begins with a few smaller class I-III rapids as you ease into paddling and working as a team. Then, you hit some bigger rapids rated class IV-V. About half way through the trip, your trip will pull over and eat a deli-style lunch on the shore. After lunch, you will continue downstream into the heart of the Gorge. Here you’ll go through several rapids rated class III-V. Between rapids, there is time for swimming, floating and maybe (based on water levels) jumping off of rocks. The trip ends just past the New River Gorge Bridge.

Excellent outfitter to work with. April could be cold but we had great weather. Surprisingly warm water.

This was my second adventure at the New River. I did rappelling on day 1 and rafted the lower New River on day 2. Excellent in every way from reservation to departure. Funny and eccentric guides with personality and zest for their craft. Thoroughly enjoyable and dedicated to their clients enjoyment. Two thumbs up.

The staff is friendly and highly knowledgeable. My group felt comfortable and in control without giving up any adrenaline rush! Facilities were well maintained and hospitable. The campsite was perfect for a group of 16.
