Linger in the German village, soaking up the charm of European architecture, a glockenspiel, cobblestone streets and fountains. Indulge in local treats, such as Bavarian pretzels, beer cheese, chicken and waffles, pizza, a tasting of local craft beer and much more!
We promise you won't leave hungry! It’s the perfect combination of dining in a charming and memorable setting with your own professional guide.Food servings are ample and equivalent to more than a meal. This is an easy walking tour.

My wife and I had never been to the area before and we like to try local food whenever we travel, instead of just eating the same chain stuff we have at home. We were both very happy with this tour. The cost and time are well worth what you get. The food was delicious and Katie, our guide, gave us a lot of information on the history of the town without it feeling like we were sitting through a class or lecture. She was also very friendly to talk to, which was good, since my wife and I were the only people on the tour that day.

Hi Seth, I agree that a food tour is a great way to try local foods if you're new to an area. I'm happy you liked the tour, the food and Katie. She makes everyone feel at home. We offer 14 tours a week, so at times we will only have 2 guests on a tour. That's fine because you're getting a private tour with your own personal tour guide!

My parents, my fiancé and myself are all native to Kentucky but wanted to learn more about the Mainstrasse area. This tour was absolutely amazing and worth every penny! Our tour guide, David, was extremely knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about the area. The food and drinks were all amazing and it was so cool that at most places, if not all, we got to meet the owner or chef who walked us through how most of their offerings are from local products. We learned a lot, had a lot of fun and now plan to go on several other tours offered by this company! Thank you for a fun day!

Laura, our guide, was wonderful in picking some great food places and in providing the history of Covington. Had a wonderful time, enjoyed the food (and there was plenty of it), relaxed in the laid-back atmosphere of the tour and places we visited, and had fun with our guide. This was absolutely a superb way to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon with friends. Highly recommend that you take one of the tours!
