Avoid the crowds of the other "cattle boats" in Kona, and enjoy a small-group manta ray snorkeling experience with a maximum of 12 passengers.

This tour departs from Keahou Harbor in South Kona and enjoys a short 5-minute boat ride to our snorkeling site, Manta Village.

Your Captain and snorkel guide will educate you on Kona's famous manta rays and will discuss our safe and humane approach to engaging with the gentle giants.

After entering the water, you'll hold onto our lightboard, with your feet propped up by floatation devices, as the manta rays perform a graceful ballet beneath you. The manta rays filter feed on plankton that naturally gathers at the surface just before sunset, then accumulates underneath our lights. This is an opportunity to enjoy an evening on the water and watch in amazement as the manta rays glide around and dance for you.

The Night Manta Ray Snorkel was awesome! We did the 4:30pm tour, and we didn’t get back until about 8pm, so we got a chance to snorkel before looking at the manta rays! Alicia and the crew were awesome! Exceeded expectations and would definitely do again next time we visit Hawaii!

I’m a new resident to Oahu and a scuba diver. I’ve been a scuba diver and instructor for twenty years. As much as I wanted to scuba dive this trip my time only allowed me to snorkel because I needed to fly home the next day. Not at all disappointed!!!! It was truly amazed...crew was amazing. Late night trip was so worth it only 2 boats around and at least 10 manta rays that put on an amazing show. I almost couldn’t stand it, I wanted to let go of the light board and dive with them but before I did they were.doing rolls and almost touching me! Truly an amazing trip,

Amazing experience! Hawaii Oceanic crew was very friendly and caring! There were so Mantarays and tones of fishes - we lost count of the numbers of Mantarays we saw. Highly recommended!!
