We carry a maximum of 12 passengers so we can offer a more intimate manta ray snorkel experience than the larger "cattle boats" in Kona.

In addition to delivering a more private experience, our small group size allows for a better manta ray show. Your swim guide will tow your party to the most active areas of the snorkel site, as you hold onto a light board and enjoy the show. Larger groups on bigger boats are often required to stay next to the boat, and can't chase the manta ray action as we do. By locating the most active areas of the snorkel site, you'll have a higher chance of seeing more manta rays.

If you book all 12 seats on any trip, you will have your own private charter.

This was a well organised trip, we got an email reminder a few days before and a message on the day with more specifics. We arrived at the meet point and Jacob was waiting to check us in. We were provided wet suits and everything ran on time. The previous group hadn’t seen anything (we were on the 7:45 tour) so we will a little nervous about missing out, but we went to a different spot and were not disappointed. This is a unique and amazing experience, the boat size was small with only 7 people including us so a lot more personal, the crew were fab ensuring we were comfortable at all times. My top tip would be if you want photos/videos don’t use a phone in a waterproof case, this is what I did and when bobbing around it’s hard to work the camera and hang onto the board. My dad and I booked this trip for my 30th birthday. We were a little worried when another company got back and they didn't see any Rays. Our guides ensured we were going into a different location and they were in connection with people still at the location and they were very active. Easy check-in. Very friendly and informative crew. Our guide (Jake or Jacob) very knowledgeable about everything Manta Rays. He sat with my Dad and I at the front of the boat. We got to see flying fish and the coastline as we headed south. It was very easy getting in and out of the boat. They provided wet suits (covered your torso), mask, and snorkle. Finns are not needed as you are stationary flat in the water. Once the rays started coming under the board the guide pointed out their names and how they can tell which ray is who, how to identify males/females, and their ages. The rays get so close (one brushed up against me) and they are so big, gentle and beautiful!! Time went very fast but the memories are long lasting. Boat ride back was a bit choppy but nothing too bad. 10/10 would recommend and this is coming from someone terrified of the ocean especially not being able to see the bottom. Just book it! Once in a lifetime experience!!

The mantas (2) came close to us and skimmed our torso. The small group of us (7) had a fantastic time!! Experienced crew too.
