This tour was excellent on so many levels. First and foremost the retired police chief shared the history of Manteo and the outer banks from the mid-1500’s to present day. Secondly, he shared some personal stories about himself and the town of Manteo. He was personable, funny and he knows his history and geography of the outer banks. Well worth the Money

This is a very informative tour. It was filled with interesting facts and history spanning over more than 400 years. Many “firsts” occurred in Manteo and these were imparted in a very fun and interesting way along with the other historical information. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to know more about the area.
