Our guides were Nate and Ian. Both were very knowledgeable and safety minded and so enthusiastic to share their knowledge.
We were so lucky in that the trip was a go - our original trip scheduled 2 days prior was cancelled because of snow.
Tips: take it slow because of lower oxygen levels; wear layers- it does get cold up there - I was happy I wore leggings under jeans and had 3 layers under my jacket. I was warm enough - others were still cold even with the parkas they were given.
This was a wonderful experience - breathtaking view of the sunset above the clouds. After, we went down to stargaze - unbelievable amount of stars. Nate set up a telescope to focus in on certain stars/ nebulae. He used a laser to point out various constellations and stars. Ian took pictures of each in the group - I still have to get them. Our group was the last to leave the stargazing spot - best experience of my trip!!!
Overall, highly recommend this tour!!!
