This was a very scenic cruise of around 7 hours, whereby we traversed approximately 130 miles of panaromic waterways of beautiful Prince William Sound.
The Captain accorded us a very smooth sailing, with very helpful commentary over the catamaran's BOSE speakers, along our cruise.
She was kind to answer my questions, and I got to see her in action.
I braved the cold by bundling myself up, and toughing it out in the cold wind and temperature, just to be immersed in the beauty of it all, out in the open.
Do dress warmly, and wear layers to stay comfortable.
We saw otters, sealion, seal, puffins and porpoise.
We stopped to admire Meares glacier, where I witnessed my first ever calving, albeit a tiny chunk only.
We were also told of the spot where Exxon Valdez took place, and are relieved that 30 years later, Valdez is in a beautiful pristine condition.
Got to feel and carry a chunk of glacier too.
Highly recommended scenic cruise.
Whilst it may be smokey, this is still very worthwhile and alluring excursion / natural attraction to enjoy.
HAPPY SAILING.
